6 LEADING WOMEN OF AFRICA (LWA)  What mechanism have we created?  Structured program development and implementation which include:  Integrated Africa Desk which focuses on:  Research, dissemination of information, Training and  Structured Women only - Regional and International Trade Missions Aim of these trade Missions: Create Linkages between Women in business Promote Inter-African Trade Access to opportunities – e.g: an SA group f Women being awarded a 20000 houses project Connect with Investors, Funders, Technical partners (e.g G20- Africa Conference)

7 WOMEN IN INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN AFRICA (WIDA)  Mission  To ensure that women emerge as successful leaders within the infrastructure development sector  Objectives  Ensure women’s integration and participation PIDA  Create support mechanisms to increase the number of women- owned Companies in infrastructure development  Advocate, at policy and other levels, the participation of women in the infrastructure sector in Africa  Promote infrastructure and other technical skills development, advancement and transfer
