Sustainability, as I see it…lowering costs, eliminating waste and creating value Did ARRA funds to CT stimulate our economy? Nationally Venture capitalists invested $2.57 billion in the clean technology sector in the first quarter, up 13 percent from a year earlier Reuters reports. CT based venture capital funds to CT - totaled 1% according to the CT Venture Capital Network There is no green genie rubbing a magic green lamp and creating green jobs. Most jobs moving forward will have tints of green aspects but very few will be truly green jobs. Energy, Water use, paper, other waste, employee engagement, transportation, wellness programs (health), safety, social responsibility commitments.
