14 EXCLUSIVE RECIPE AND KNOW HOW The wine used for the creation of Lillet Blanc is sourced from the best white wines. It is the result of the careful blending of different grape varieties. Semillon gives its structure and long finish, Sauvignon Blanc, its freshness and aroma, and Muscatel for its floral bouquet and elegance. The “vinage” is made with fine artisanal orange liqueur crafted from sweet orange peels from Spain and bitter oranges from Haiti, cold macerated, and a secret blend of fruit liqueurs including red fruits liqueurs. The fine liqueurs used are produced in Lillet’s distillery in Podensac. A small amount of quinine from Peru is added to the final blend in the same time honored manner since the early 19th century. Lillet is aged in oak casks from 6 to 12 months.

24 Lillet Rosé proposition 1.The Consumer: The Lillet consumer already drinks Rosé wine Consumers are becoming more wine-savvy and are discovering the fresh and fruity taste of Rosé Consumer test results in USA 2010 show that Lillet Rosé is as popular as Lillet Blanc and significantly preferred to Martini Rosato * 2. The rather low level of the ranking during this test, is probably due to the consumption habits: consumers are used to drink these products in cocktail, rarely pure. Some respondents suggested that these products could be pretty " dessert wines ".
