There was a firefighter, his life got changed around, and he did not know what to do but let’s go back 11 years ago... There was a sixteen year old black haired boy, he was about 5’7, and he was trying to make a difference in his life.
6
He decided to leave his mom’s house and become a volunteer firefighter. Everyone gave him the nickname “Junior”, and so he was sent off to fire fighting school.
8
Two months later, Junior finishes fire school with three certifications. He can’t take the last class until he turns eighteen. His first fire call is a crackling barn fire. They get the call at 1:34 a.m., and they get on scene at 1:51 a.m.
10
When the firefighters got to the scene, all the animals were out of the barn. The building burned down, and they were there for hours. Finally, they got the fire out.
12
Now two years later, the teen is eighteen years old, and he has his own place with a nice car and truck. He is still a firefighter, and he is going back to firefighting school.
14
After fire school, he got a job in New York. He gets the job at one of the biggest stations. He has two days before he has to leave, so he visits everyone he knows and loves.
16
When he moved to New York the date was September 5, 2001. He starts work in five days, so he rents a condo. He starts his first day, September 10 th and the firefighters only get a couple calls-- nothing big, but that night he only got four hours of sleep.
18
When he is sleeping, he has a dream that his moment is coming. Suddenly, the firefighters get a call about the World Trade Center getting hit by a plane. The fire truck races out the door and the firefighters do not know if they will be coming back.

He has a plan to go up as high as he can and help as many people as he can. The firefighter needs to get the people out of the World Trade Center as fast as lightning. Then, he can help more people.
22
On September 11, 2001, this firefighter got as many people out as he could, but that day changed a lot of people’s lives. This was his moment -saving lives on that day while risking his own life.
