ACCESSING EBSCOHOST RESEARCH DATABASES FROM ANYWHERE ACCESS

Step 1 – Navigate to EBSCO databases. – Go to search.ebscohost.com and sign in with user name: oakhallschool and password: library. OR – Go to oakhall.follettdestiny.com

User ID: oakhallschool Password: library

Choose the database that’s best for you. Lower School Searchasaurus Middle School Student Research Center High School EBSCOhost Research Databases or Student Research Center

TO SAVE YOUR RESULTS IN A FOLDER FOR LATER ACCESS SET UP YOUR OWN ACCOUNT

Click on Sign In. Click on Create a New Account. Before searching, set up a personalized account, so you can access your resources later.

Fill out the form fields to set up your account. Be certain that your user name and password are memorable.

Select the Databases suggested by your teacher or the librarian. Descriptions provided. Check all that apply

Enter your search terms. If you do not get the results you want, try different search terms. You can also use the Advanced Search options. See provided EBSCO Help Sheets or use EBSCO Help.

Refine (Narrow) your results to FULL TEXT, so you only get FULL TEXT articles. PEER REVIEWED articles are checked by experts in the field. You can also specify a PUBLICATION DATE range.

Resource management is KEY. You have many options: Print, Email, Add to Folder, Cite, Export, Permalink, or Share. Look at your resource management options on the right to save and share your resources.

Citation is easy. Click citation icon on right. Scroll down to MLA format. Right click and copy citation. MLA citation. Citation icon.
