2 The surface area, SA, of a right rectangular prism is determined by the formula: SA = 2 l w + 2 l h + 2wh Where l represents the length, w represents the width, and h represents the height of the prism. You can always sketch the faces to look at each side, rather than use the formula. Remember, the area formula for a rectangle is A = bh. Since you have six faces you must add them together. Surface area will be in square units.

3 Find the surface area of the rectangular prism. 3 mm 10 mm 2 mm

5 Find the surface area of the rectangular prism. 5 in.

6 How much wrapping paper would you need to wrap a box with dimensions : 12 inches x 5 inches x 7 inches?
