3 u.select and IAI u.select (formerly known as CAS)  an online advising tool that provides information on course equivalencies and degree requirements at participating institutions Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI)  an agreement among more than 100 participating institutions for a guaranteed package of transferrable courses u.select and IAI are both State initiatives intended to improve transfer throughout Illinois. However, they are very different and participation is not linked. To learn more, visit the i Transfer website at www.itransfer.org/www.itransfer.org/

4 What is u.select? u.select is an online transfer advising tool that allows students and advisors to:  Search for information about schools  Learn about the majors different institutions offer  See the graduation requirements for those majors  Determine how courses transfer between schools  Find course equivalencies among various institutions  Create a course history  Run personalized degree planning guides  Monitor progress toward a degree It is a free service funded by the Illinois Board of Higher Education and supported by the participating institutions.
