My only suggestion would be to maybe have broken up the lunches into 2 or 3 separate times so that we weren't all packed into a small space” “The Welcome speech (the very first event of the first day of orientation) was not very motivating and did not excite me for the upcoming orientation exciting adult speakers. I think there should have been more student speakers or more.” “I really liked how we were grouped with people who lived in the same residence hall, it made me more confident that I will see familiar faces. The campus safety seminar was the most beneficial because I was nervous about living in Chicago, but now my mind is at ease.” “Campus Safety. As I am coming to Loyola from out of state, I felt more at ease about coming to Chicago after hearing about what Campus Safety has to offer (hot spots tour).” “The campus safety session was put together in a way that was both funny yet informative. That made likely to pay attention to everything the speaker was saying and it was beneficial to know all the different types of safety features the campus includes.”

There were gluten free options and vegetarian options, but not gluten free and vegan. I had to bring my own food which was a problem.” “The food was delicious! I really appreciated the fact that there was always a vegetarian option. the orientation leaders were very informative, entertaining and kind.” “I really enjoyed the meals. They were healthy and they tasted great! The best part was the open buffet lunch on the second day of the orientation.”
