Archeologists had not found any evidences until recently that the Gardens existed at all. For a long time, experts believed that the Greek poets had made the Gardens up. Archeologists discovered the remains of the Palace of Babylon a few years ago and they have found huge walls which may have been built as part of the Gardens.The ancient Babylonians grew the Gardens 75 metres above the ground.
