Color is one of the most basic elements of art. Color is made from light being reflected or absorbed. The color that you see with your eyes is the color that is being reflected. Colors can inspire emotions, react with other colors to stand out or blend it, and sometimes have cultural meanings too.

Effects of Color Bright colors make people feel joyful and happy, they stimulate the brain and can trigger emotions.

Creating Contrast with Color Contrast means a difference between two or more things that results in those things standing out. When two opposites are next to each other they make each other stand out and catch the viewers attention.
