Radiation Radiation is the transfer of heat energy through waves. Examples of Radiation: When you open your oven in your kitchen and the heat escapes the inside of the oven The heat from a bon fire or camp fire Lying out in the sun to get a tan Can you think of an example? Investigation How do you think the dimensions of different solar ovens will influence the time it takes for cookies to bake? Today’s task is to construct your oven so that tomorrow we can bake cookies! When you get to your lab station you will complete the following: Step 1: Each group is going to receive a volume size for your oven. Step 2: Figure out the height of your oven.
