Mission of the ACHIEVE Gardens Program Assist local groups to create, operate, and maintain a community garden to Improve public nutrition and the neighborhood environment Increase chances for healthful outdoor recreation, education, and positive social interaction Build community self-reliance and engagement

Community Garden Project A Community Garden is green space set aside for local residents to grow their own fresh vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers.

Fresh and nutritious food at low cost to residents District beautification and environmental enhancement Healthy outdoor activity Education relating to gardening and the environment Build and strengthen communities through positive social interaction and shared activities Community Garden Benefits

Garden Design Raised garden beds are constructed to 20’ x 5’ for easy usage by elderly and people with disabilities.
