6. What is bullying? Purposeful- Bullying is not accidental. It is done on purpose. Imbalanced Power– The person who is bullying is thought to have more power in the situation. Continuous – It happens more than once.

7. Physical: harm to someone’s body or property Verbal: hurting someone’s feelings with words There are 3 Types of bullying They can be direct (face-to-face) or indirect (behind someone’s back / digital / electronic). Emotional or Social : harm to someone’s self-esteem or feeling of safety

11. What can you do about Bullying???? If you see someone being bullied? –Be an Upstander, not a bystander! If you are being bullied? –Tell the person to stop (Be assertive, not aggressive). –Find an adult, that you trust, and report the bullying. If you are the bully? –Find an adult that you trust (parent, counselor, spiritual leader, etc…) and talk to them about your concerns.

13. How do I report Bullying? Talk with a trusted adult Write a note and put it in Mr. Goetz’s mailbox
