Clothing/Fashion Apparently everyone was into wearing cheesy dress shirts or ridiculous pants and half the time there pajama looked more like regular clothes.

Major Events August 12, 1981 - IBM introduces the IBM-PC personal computer, the IBM 5150. It was designed by twelve engineers and designers under Don Estridge of the IBM Entry Systems Division. It sold for $1,565 in 1981. November 13, 1982 - The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is dedicated in Washington, D.C., holding the names of the more than 58,000 killed or missing in action during the conflict. November 20, 1985 - The first version of the Windows operating system for computers is released. May 25, 1986 - Five million people make a human chain across the United States in the Hands Across America campaign to fight hunger and homelessness. August 12, 1987 - Near the end of hearings into the Iran-contra affair, President Reagan admits to a policy that went astray, but denied knowledge of the diversion of funds to the contras. April 12, 1988 - The first patent for a genetically engineered animal is issued to Harvard University researchers Philip Leder and Timothy Stewart.

Local fact 1 The most popular tourist attractions in san Antonio are the Alamo, paseo del rio, and the river walk. The river walk is a a collection of stone paths and lines with shops,galleries, and restaurants that trails a river.

Local fact 2 Some of the newest san Antonio attractions are the amusement parks like sea world, the world largest marine life showplace and home of the steel Eel exhibit, the only hyper coaster in the southwest and the other attraction is fiesta Texas with the worlds steepest, fastest and tallest wooden rollercoaster.

What did you like the most about this decade and why? What I like most about this decades project was revisiting all the old shows and music that I was exposed to as a baby.
