Air Pollution Air Pollution is defined as the contamination of the atmosphere by the introduction of pollutants from human and natural sources. Air pollutants are classified according to their source as either primary pollutants or secondary pollutants.

Air Pollution Primary pollutants are put directly in the air by human or natural activity (examples: dust, pollen, smoke and vehicle exhaust). Secondary pollutants are pollutants that form when primary pollutants react with other primary pollutants or with naturally occurring substances, such as water vapor (examples: ozone and smog).

Closing Air Pollution is defined as the contamination of the atmosphere by the introduction of pollutants from human and natural sources. Some of the negative health effects of air pollution are coughing, difficulty taking deep breaths, and catching more colds. If you have asthma or a heart condition breathing in particulate matter could make it worse.
