Above all, theories alone will not produce the most effective service team, without the “LOVE” through which we are known as God’s disciples. “A new commandment I give to you, that you LOVE one another; as I have loved you, that you also LOVE one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have LOVE for one another“. (John 13: 34-35) Team Work with a Servant’s Heart
22
This love is a fruit of the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit – responsible for our unity – VISION “Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (1Cor 1:10) Team Work with a Servant’s Heart
23
“ Fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” (Phil 2: 2-4) Team Work with a Servant’s Heart
24
-Specialization (talent) “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,.” (EPH 4: 11-12) Team Work with a Servant’s Heart
25
“Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth GLORIFY the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Rom 15: 5-6) Team Work with a Servant’s Heart LAST ASPIRATION
