The throat is a tube that runs from behind your nose and mouth down your neck to the opening of the esophagus and wind pipe.

Throat cancer It is a disease that happens when cancer cells grow in a abnormal way in your throat. This type of cancer happens when throat cells divide without control or order. When cells keep dividing without control when new cells are not needed, a tissue is formed, it is called a growth or a tumor. If tumor is made it can invade nearby tissues or other parts of the body.

Some Symptoms: Sore throat Feeling that something is caught in the throat Difficulty chewing or swallowing Difficulty moving the jaw or tongue Voice changes or hoarseness Pain in the head, throat, or neck Lump in the neck Unexplained weight loss

Some treatment are: Surgery Radiation therapy Chemotherapy Combined modality therapy Surgery Radiation therapy Chemotherapy Combined modality therapy
