Functions PVC Pipe : place for the material gallons : as the tank to keep the clean water tap water: to pour the water out Big pieces of carbon: sterilize the water from the bacteries, absorb the odor and poisions Carbon active: to lose the odor, caporite, and chlorine zeolith: used for chemical filtration that absorb the molecules and lose the nitrogen ions Ijuk : filter big material contain in the water Silica: to collect the bacteries contain in the water White Sand: to filter the water from its small particles contain in it Aquarium filter: to seperate from each materials and to... PVC glue: to connect the pipes Oval aluminium: to keep the rain water

Design 2
8
Firstly, make a hole in the bottom part of the galoons and put the tap water on it like the picture below.
9
Second, cut the PVC pipe in a various length depends on your needs as seen in the picture below.
10
Thirdly, wash the aquarium filter, silica sand, big carbon, ziolith, carbon active, and ijuk. Make sure they had dry before we put into the pipes
11
Rearrange the pipes into 4 part as in the picture below. Connect the long pipes with the bent-shaped pipe and Y- shape pipe. Each part will be fill with different materials.
12
This is the layout of how the material will be in: In the 1st pipe 1. zeolith 2. Ijuk 3. White sand 4. Aquarium cotton In the 2nd pipe 1. Silica sand 2. Aquarium cotton 3. Big pieces of carbon 4. Aquarium cotton In the 3rd pipe 1. Carbon active 2. Aquarium cotton
13
This is Pipe 1 which will be fill with ziolith, aquarium cotton, and coal.
14
Pipe number 2 is filled with silica sand, cotton, big pieces of carbon while, pipe number 3 contains carbon active and aquarium cotton These are pipes 2 and 3 Pipe 3 Pipe 2
15
The interconnected pipes will now connect pipe no. 4 to the gallons Pipe no. 3 here Gallons Here
17
This is the result of the water used the second design The water looks after 1st filtration The water looks like after the 2nd filtration The final result from the 3rd filtration
18
Problem with the second design Need to wait for long time to filter the water.
19
Precaution Dirty water that will be used for purification should not be too concentrated. At least, clean water should be more than the mixture. Water that will be used also have to undergo some tests, like biological test, physical test, and chemical test. To make sure that no chemical substance there. All purifier should be clean. Before cleaning the water, each of the materials should be washed, especially zeolith, carbon active, ijuk, and sand. So that the waste there will not affect the experiment Make sure that all materials should fit the PVC pipes, so that the big molecules from water will not go down to the galoon first.
20
Precaution Just let the water go down by itself. No need to push it away. The place for the purification should be cleaned too. Make sure no dirt there. The 4th pipe would not be fill with the material. Make sure there is no gap when putting the aquarium cotton. The cotton should be tightly with the diameter of the pipe. After 1,5 months we should change the materials.

Cost of the Material Gallons: @Rp. 40,000 Carbon active: Rp.15,000 Aquarium filter: Rp. 10,000 Silica sand: Rp 5,000 Carbon active: Rp.15,000 Aquarium filter: Rp.10,000 zeolith: Rp.15,000 PVC: @ Rp. 20,000 1 metre fabric: Rp. 5,000 Additional materials* :Rp. 20,000 * additional materials are those such as PVC glue, bottle, etc..
