4. Young Andy ► As a young child Andy started having strange medical problems. He fell ill and his skin started to get paler and turned almost the color of white! During this time in his life young Andy grew more and more afraid of the hospital.

5. Art College Even though Andy’s father did not have much money he sent Andy to art college. Even though Andy’s father did not have much money he sent Andy to art college. At art college Andy started drawing in a very unusual art style in his paintings.

6. Shoes After he graduated from art college Andy started selling his drawings for money. After he graduated from art college Andy started selling his drawings for money. Andy’s favorite subject to draw was shoes. These pictures were the ones that sold the best.

7. A Different Style In his art Andy painted everyday things. He enjoyed painting these subjects. Andy drew such things as the front and back of dollar bills and the classic Campbell’s tomato soup cans. Andy also painted Marilyn Monroe.

9. Andy’s Largest Sculpture One of Andy’s largest sculptures was hung in the Washington D.C. art museum. This piece of artwork took a couple of years to make. It had many trials and errors but was finally finished and was hung in the museums very large lobby.

10. Andy’s Death AAAAndy fell sick and had to go to the hospital. There he told the doctor that he wanted to leave because he would die there. The doctor did not believe Andy. Then, Andy had the surgery that he said would kill him. After the surgery Andy got very ill. Andy knew he would die in that very hospital and as he had said, Andy Warhol’s life sadly came to the end in the very same hospital in the year 1987.
