STEADY RED: stop before entering intersection
RIGHT ON RED LAW Come to a complete STOP before the stop line (solid white line that goes half way across the road) No sign indicating it is prohibited. No traffic No pedestrians

SIGNALS STEADY YELLOW: stop before intersection unless it is unsafe to do so GREEN: go when safe to do so GREEN ARROW: may proceed in the direction the arrow is pointing. RED ARROW: may not proceed in the direction the arrow is pointing. Wait for green.

FLASHING RED: STOP. Proceed when safe to do so.
FLASHING YELLOW: slow down and proceed with caution

General Rule for Passing
Stay right, pass left. *Passing on the right hand shoulder is illegal (and is a 4 point violation)

The vehicle in front of you is making a left hand turn and there room to pass. If the vehicles are moving in 2 or more substantially continuous lines.
