1 Upper Body exercises: Bench Press Bicep Curl

2 Bench Press  Equipment includes: A barbell, weights, and a bench.  Bench press is a weight lift that can provide muscular strength and endurance to our triceps and pectoral muscles.  The exercise is done by depressing the weight to the chest and pushing it back up by extending at the elbows.

3 Bench Press  Important subjects when approaching the bench press:  Grip  Back flat  Breathing  Push  It is also important to use a spotter for this exercise.

4 Fitness PE Bench Press  Depending on personal goals different weight, repetitions, and sets can be utilized.  This class will first focus on endurance based exercise for bench press.  It is recommended to complete 4 sets of 10 repetitions with a comfortable weight.

6 Bicep Curls  Equipment: weighted dumbbells or barbell.  A bicep curl is a weight lift that can improve muscular strength and endurance of the bicep muscle.  This exercise is done by flexing at the elbow to curl the weight to the shoulder then extended at the elbow to bring the weight back down to the body.

7 Bicep Curls  Important cues:  Straight back  Elbow close to body  Up  Down  Mirrors are a great tool for this exercise to ensure proper form.
