11. Pollination What is it? The movement of pollen from stamen to pistil How does it happen? Pollen from the stamens rubs off on an animal’s body. When the animal goes to the next plant, it carries the pollen to the pistil of the next flower.

12. Fertilization What is it? When the sperm cell from the pollen and egg cell combine inside the ovary How does it happen? When the pollen lands on the pistil, the sperm cells travel down to the egg cells in the ovary.
