2 February 6 th was the 50 th anniversary of the Beatles coming to America When they arrived they though that no one was going to know who they were. How did news of the British band the Beatles spread in America in a time without social media? One record was brought across the ocean by a airplane stewardess and passed on to a radio DJ who played it and through radio stations and bootlegged copied passed it on to every home in North America.
