Theodor Seuss Geisel Theodor Seuss Geisel (Ted) was born on Howard Street in Springfield Massachusetts. Ted attend Dartmouth College. He would become a famous write, and gave his mother credit for inspiring the rhythms he used. Dr. Seuss past away on September 24, 1994

OH the books he would write! Dr. Seuss wrote 44 children’s books during his career. The books were made in fifteen different languages. 200 million copies of Dr. Seuss books were made. These books included books like….

Accomplishments Seuss was editor-in-chief of the Jack-O- Lantern at Dartmouth College. He wrote 44 children’s books Close to 11 television show got their ideas from Seuss His books inspired a Broad-way musical and feature length motion picture. Honors include: Two Academy awards, two Emmy awards, a Peabody Award and Pulitzer Award.
