2. Theodor Seuss Geisel Theodor Seuss Geisel (Ted) was born on Howard Street in Springfield Massachusetts. Ted attend Dartmouth College. He would become a famous write, and gave his mother credit for inspiring the rhythms he used. Dr. Seuss past away on September 24, 1994

Honors include: Two Academy awards, two Emmy awards, a Peabody Award and Pulitzer Award.
