Understand the meaning of the word classes: verbs, adjectives and nouns and ‘synonym’. Write your own cinquain poem linked to the theme of: Rembering WILF: To be able to describe the basic structure of a cinquain. To be able to set out the poem in the correct and logical order.

How to Write a Cinquain Line 2: 2 adjectives (describing words)
Line 1: 1 word subject (noun - naming word) Line 2: 2 adjectives (describing words) Line 3: 3 words that express action (verb) Line 4: 1 phrase about the subject Line 5: 1 synonym for the subject Also add a suitable title
