Church vs. State Religion in the Public School System? Clarissa Grego

The Beginning This country was found on religious freedom, meaning; The people are free to practice whichever religion they prefer. This country has a government that has promised to guide us in the right direction without religious interference.

But… What happens when religion does interfere with the law? And vice versa?

The Issue Religion is sneaking into the public school systems.. Do they know it’s happening? Religious breaks, religious clothing, religious teachings in history, science, etc.? Should this be allowed?

My Position (for now) I believe public schools should not involve religion.. No disruptive, public religious practices!

However.. What about certain situations? -pledge of allegiance -money -private, personal prayer -teaching ABOUT religion

Why is this my position? My Argument is.. School is an influential place Teachers can be role models Public vs. Private
