Final Role Plays Not looking for perfection, but for good beginner counselor skills We are looking for use of client-centered counseling skills, use of do’s and don’ts, and incorporation of our feedback Observations are cumulative Mod 14 (2 of 3)

Instructions Begin session after sample has been taken, “So, what brings you in for testing today?”, or “How’s your finger?” Counsel for 12 minutes (listen for trainer prompts) Leave the room for 2 minutes for results Give results and counsel - 5 minutes (listen for trainer prompts) Client roles – be an EASY client!
