Solar Canopy Woking Borough Council wanted a stunning gateway to the town 35,000 PV cells laminated in 272 glass panels giving peak electrical output of 81kWp Saves 41 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year

Lessons Learnt…so far 8/17/2015 LOW CARBON SCHOOLS PROGRAMME www.actionwoking.org Head / Principle buy-in is crucial Schools need to prioritise energy consumption as a performance indicator Energy management offers a great educational opportunity Regular engagement necessary to keep things moving Schools need financial help to implement measures!
