TrekView Tag Basics

TrekView Desktop Reader (DTR)
Once the desktop reader is connected to a PC and TrekView software is open, hold the tag within 2 inches of the snowflake on the DTR. Be sure that the desktop reader is not near or on any metal objects (file cabinets, etc.) as this will cause interference. The Desktop Reader plugs into your PC with a USB “B” to USB cord. It must be plugged into a PC running TrekView software to read and download tag data.

TrekView Handheld Reader (HHR)
The HHR must be in the “L” shape shown below, and the grey bulls-eye must be within 5 inches of a tag in order to read the tag data. The HHR features a touchscreen user interface The HHR plugs into your PC with a mini USB to USB cord. The HHR features an SD card slot to store tag data.

Tag Setup Use default setting, a custom setting previously created, or click add button to create a new custom setting Click the configure button to transfer a setup to a tag

Rollover Icon Use mouse to roll over the curve and get specific time / temperature information
