14 Comparison of Approaches to Home Assessment Problem-Based: Back gutter is bent and hanging loose, and water from downspouts is puddling against the foundation. Solution-Based: Remove old gutter and install 24 feet of 5 inch white aluminum gutter sloped from the middle to 3x4 inch downspouts 10 feet long at each corner, with extensions to direct water 6 feet from the foundation.
