Freshman Admission Requirements A minimum of 15 College-prep courses At least 11 of the 15 must be finished prior to the senior year. Referred to as the “a-g” pattern Required grade point average in “a-g” courses 3.4 GPA for Non-residents 3.0 GPA for California residents GPA calculated on 10th & 11th grade course work Examination Requirement ACT with Writing or SAT Reasoning by December of the senior year. SAT Subject Tests not required but may be recommended by some campuses/majors

Exam Requirements SAT Reasoning Math Reading Writing OR OPTIONAL EXAMS: SAT Subject Tests Advanced Placement (AP) International Baccalaureate (IB) Official test scores must be reported by the testing agency. Submit scores to ONE campus by December of the senior year.
