3 Mission Statement: To inspire and develop skills, sportsmanship, and physical fitness through athletic participation, while living the Buckeye lifestyle

4 Vision Statement: To be the most popular city wide sports camp, while creating and maintaining a Scholarship fund for Franklin County students

5 Market Analysis: Kids – ages 9 – 14 in the Columbus area, Ohio State fans, Sport fans participate in sports. Parents – Income $50,000+ – Ohio State fans All race, gender, ethnicity, nationality

6 Market Analysis: Send brochures to each school district’s Board of Educations – ask to distribute to age appropriate schools

8 SWOT Analysis Strengths: – Association with the University – Facilities - Dorm, Fields – Popular coaches and athlete – Strong Buckeye community Weaknesses: – Cost – Logistics of appearances – Timing for people & facilities – Feeding them – Not being able to offer every sport

17 Goals & Objectives: Improve Athletic Skill – Designate day one to skill building, and day two to implementing the skills taught – 75% of the kids can achieve the skill taught – 50% of the kids can explain the facts of the game Attendance – Achieve 300 attendants – At least 200 from Columbus area – At least a third are girls

18 Goals & Objectives: Volunteers – For every seven kids, we want to have one adult – Have a representative from each sport (That we do in the camp) from OSU team. – A majority of volunteers be students Physical Fitness – Every kid being able to properly stretch – Knowing what they are stretching – 75% of the kids can name two of the five main reasons why stretching is important

19 Goals & Objectives: Create a scholarship fund for Franklin County students – Use all net income to provide scholarships – Make at least $2000 net income – Provide at least 4 scholarships each year

20 Tentative Schedule: Saturday: 8 am – check/move in at the dorms 10 am – meet at the field, introductions of staff, schedule, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm – lunch/free 1 pm – sport 1 3:30 pm – sport 2 6 pm – dinner 7:30 pm – sport 3 10 pm – back at dorms Sunday: 8 am – breakfast 9:30 am – sport 1 11 am – sport 2 12:30 pm – lunch/free 2 pm – sport 3 3:30 pm – tournament/championsh ip 5 pm – dinner and wrap 6 pm – everyone leave
