Rationale for Request(s): The textbook currently used for Entrepreneurship class is eight years old and needs to be updated with more current information and examples. Process for Textbook Selection: Sample textbooks were obtained Teachers reviewed the three textbooks and the supplemental resources available based on the above criteria Complete readability/bias form Select textbook Weight of Textbook: 1.5 pounds

11 Connect College Reading Engage College Reading 9 th and 10 th Grade teachers need an anchor text to teach informational reading strategies to prepare students for the Keystone Literature Exam, 50% of which is informational text. Common Core aligned, on-line teaching materials for teachers. Piloted by both schools in 9 th and 10 th grade classes: Connect in Foundations and Engage in 9 th and 10 th. Teachers aligned books to Keystone Assessment Anchors, have already created shared resources and alignment to existing literature.
