9. Where it all started.... The first Community Bank® branches opened in 1998 in the Victorian wheatbelt towns, Rupanyup and Minyip. Today, Rupanyup and Minyip have been joined by more than 200 other communities across Australia to form one of the fastest growing banking networks – community banking.

We have returned over $1.3 million to the community since 2001. 2002 - $9,000 sponsorships and grants 2003 - $32,000 sponsorships and grants 2004 - $42,000 sponsorships and grants $43,000 to shareholders 2005 - $84,000 sponsorships and grants $66,000 to shareholders 2006 - $155,750 sponsorships and grants $66,000 to shareholders 2007 - $247,323 sponsorships and grants $87,000 to shareholders 2008 - $388,420 sponsorships and grants $133,000 to shareholders 2009 – Nearly $200,000 towards our bushfire affected communities 2010 - $322,944 sponsorships and grants $724,064.00 total dividends to shareholders over the past 10 years
