8. 8 Legal Requirements  IDEA 2004 requires that all students with disabilities who need AIM should be provided:  with the instructional materials they need  in the formats they need  at the time the materials are needed.  Some students served under Chapter 15 Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 may need AIM.

Did you know that your child can also get access to Bookshare at home for FREE? We wanted to inform you so that your child can continue to read outside of the classroom. Evenings, weekends, and summers… mysteries, fairy tales, science fiction, adventure stories… with Bookshare, students can read what they want, when they want! You may wonder how all this can be free? Bookshare received an award from the Office of Special Education Programs at the U.S. Department of Education to provide free Bookshare access to students with qualified print disabilities, such as visual impairments, physical disabilities, and severe learning disabilities.
