BioCrossroads concentrated its effort and investment in: Support for Project Lead the Way and its Biomedical Science curriculum Support for AP STEM (to non-traditional AP students) through the National Math and Science Initiative’s partnership with the University of Notre Dame – AP-TipIN program Support for the ISTEM Resource Network and the Indiana Science Initiative in partnership with Purdue University and with financial support from the Lilly Endowment and the Eli Lilly Company Foundation www.biocrossroads.com

Results AP TipIN (partner - University of Notre Dame, Karen Morris) * Raised over $10M for Advanced Placement courses in MSE AP * Number of students taking AP courses has risen from 2,577 in Year 1 to 10,378 in Year 3 * Number of AP MSE Qualifying scores has tripled between year 1 and 2 (still waiting for Year 3 results) * 261 MSE AP teachers in 30 schools www.biocrossroads.com

Indiana Science Initiative (lead partner - Purdue University/Paul Ainslie) *Raised over $10M for K-8 inquiry-based science instruction * Provided PD for 2,197 K-8 science teachers * Engaged with over 51,000 students statewide * Delivered over 4 tons of science materials to support kit refurbishment * Raised science and ELA ISTEP scores from below to above state averages across a diverse range of schools www.biocrossroads.com
