8. a.Satan is the enemy of unbelievers, Luke 8:12; 2 Cor 4:3 ‑ 4; 2 Thes 2:7 ‑ 10; Col 2:8.

9. b. Satan is the enemy of the Church Age believer, 2 Cor 2:11; 11:3; Eph 6:10 ‑ 17; James 4:6 ‑ 10; 1 Peter 5:6 ‑ 9.

19. c. Demons are said to be the enemy of God, 1 Cor 15:25; Heb 10:13.

20. d. Unbelievers are the enemies of God, Rom 5:10; Col 1:21.

21. Rom 5:10, “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

22. All unbelievers are in a state of alienation, hostile in thinking, and evil in deeds.

23. e. Both categories of enemies of God will be judged by the Lake of Fire, John 3:18; Mat 25:41; Heb 10:27.

24. f. The carnal believer becomes a temporary enemy of God by being out of fellowship, Rom 8:7 ‑ 8.

25. Rom 8:7-8, “Because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

26. g. God is the enemy of the reversionistic believer, especially when he is under the sin unto death, 1 Sam 28:16.

27. h. The reversionistic believer is the enemy of God, James 4:4-5.

28. James 4:4-5, “You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”?”
