3. Billy the Kid  Billy was born William Henry McCarty on the 23 rd November 1859  Billy died on the 14 th July 1881when he was just aged 21.  He died due to a gunshot wound.  He participated in the Lincoln County War and became a frontier outlaw in the American Old West
