20 In today’s learning landscape we need ‘learning rebels’ and ‘learning provocateurs’, and not ‘learning conformists’. …because we are going through a time of major learning transformation, a radical thinking that will help us get started on the transformation has become quite critical. What we need is creative thinking that will churn out innovative solutions that will address the unique challenges of today’s creative economy (challenges that are very different from the ones posed by the industrial economy we have been addressing so far). The need of the hour is a revolution for: Breaking the rules Thinking out-of-the-box Questioning/Challenging the status quo

25 UNESCO June 2015 Global Education 2030 Association of Quality Assurance Agencies of the Islamic World (QA Islamic) Workshop YODAK and YOK. Ossiannilsson 28-29 May 2015 …a must-read for any person concerned with quality in online, open and flexible higher education. It presents quality models in use around the globe and offers 11 recommendations for future work on quality. The report paints with a broad brush the landscape of quality in online and open education – and its challenges. Illustrating that quality in online learning is as complex as the reality of online learning itself, it addresses new needs such as quality in MOOCs and Open Education Resources. It shows that one size does not fit all, that improving quality of student experiences is more than ever extremely important, and it warns against implementation of quality models that restrict innovation and change. Gard Titlestad, Secretary General ICDE 414 200 000 students will study in HEI in 2030, thus quality in study situations and results cant be overestimated.
