Rights were given after Civil War Voting rights for African American males, 21 years of age Reduced the members of the House of Representatives if they denied citizens right to vote Indians don’t pay taxes and cant vote Today all males and female African Americans can vote at the age of 18 according to the 26 th amendment

Separation of Powers- Judicial, Legislative, Executive Any person in office shall not rebel against the government or decisions of the government Congress has to agree to law, If you go against the law, you will be removed Leaders of the Confederate side were banned from office until congress revoked ban, only some returned to civilian life
