2. Map And Location  Fossil butte national park is located in Kemmerer Wyoming. Warm days in fossil butte are usually around 70-90 degrees F. cold evenings are usually 30-50 degrees F.

3. When did it become a park and why?  It became a park in 1972 it became a park to protect the green trees and animals in the woods by reserving land for them.

4. How was it formed  For over 50 million years fossils were building up with layers of limestone, mudstone and volcanic ash witch made the mountains of fossil butte.

5. Types of rocks  In fossil butte national park some rocks that can found there include mudstone and limestone.

6. Special features/landforms  A special landform/feature in the fossil butte national park is the fossil river witch is full of fossils.
