Location and Geographical Features Ukraine is located by Eastern Europe, between Poland, Romania, and Moldova.Ukraine is mostly made up of fertile plants and the mountains are only found in the west. Heavily-eroded mountains extend into Russia just north of the sea of Azov. Ukraine is bordered by the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. Summers are warm in the greater part of the country, hot in the south because the country is in the middle part of Europe. It’s not too close to the equator, but close enough to make the summers warm and the winter's chilly. Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe.

How to say “Merry Christmas” In Ukraine, they say Merry Christmas like this: “Z Rizdvom Khrystovym or Srozhdestvom Kristovym” I don’t exactly know how to say this, but most of Ukraine speaks Russian except for the western regions.

Traditional Food of Ukraine Potato Varenyky (Potato Dumplings) Ingredients ● 2 cups flour ● 1 egg ● 1 teaspoon salt ● 3½ cups instant mashed potatoes, prepared ● ¾ cup cheddar or processed cheese, shredded ● Salt and pepper, to taste Potato Varenyky, Potato Dumplings, are a type of food you would eat for dinner if you went to Ukraine for Christmas.
