Instructions Read all of the information about how fast different kinds of animals can travel in miles per hour in the next slide. Then answer the two multiple chose questions that follow.

Animals and Rates of Speed One adult wood turtle can cover a distance of 450 feet in 25 minutes, a rate of 0.2 miles per hour and swims at a pace of 10 to 12 mph. Tigers have been known to reach speeds up to 32 miles per hour. A horses can run 37.5 miles per hour.
