Engineers Without Borders-UK Placements Team This Weekend: Overall Goal > Poverty Alleviation < This weekend, like all EWB-UK events and activities, contributes to the mission of facilitating human development through engineering Our approach is to build communities of and for the UK youth to participate in this mission, ultimately by working through existing international development organisations The placements programme enables volunteers to facilitate development projects through partner organisations, deliberately using and contributing to communities of practice 1. Engineers Without Borders-UK Placements Team This Weekend: Purpose >Empowering our Project Managers< You, our project managers, are responsible for planning, preparing for, monitoring and evaluating projects; the hub of a network of people that enable, and learn from each project. This training session will enable you to fulfil this role by exploring what it could involve, discussing difficulties you may face, and offering support and guidance in building, accessing these networks. The training session will also give you the skills and understanding to fairly and professionally place the best volunteers for your projects. 1. Overview
