17. 17 Automatic Route Selection Purpose: To understand the KX-TD500 Automatic Route Selection capabilities 1. Using ARS, route all outgoing CO calls over the LCOT in Trunk Group 1.

18. 18 Automatic Route Selection n ARS allows outbound Central Office Calls to be routed over the most cost effective line n ARS also allows digit modification n When ARS is enabled, the feature can be accessed by dialing 9 from intercom dial tone or by depressing a Loop CO key. n The TD500 System will route the call over the most cost effective line based on the number dialed and the time of day n If the dialed number is not found in the Leading Digit Tables, the system will route the call over a line in the System - Local Hunt Sequence
