Risks Risks are opportunities for reward or loss. They can be either high, medium, low. Think Safety!

Potential Risks Identify as either High or low

Opposite of Active An inactive lifestyle means not active. We call that sedentary lifestyle.

Sedentary Lifestyle What if we don’t reach the 55-70 speed limit at all? How could this affect my LIFE?

Risks Sedentary lifestyle doesn’t look like much… effort-wise! But could look large in size of health problems (diseases) and being unbalanced. Risks with doing little or nothing 1.Heart Disease 2.Diabetes type 2 3.Obesity/overweight 4.Low Self-esteem 5.Relationship issues – Withdraw/isolate 6.Depression 7.Lower immune system (colds, flu’s etc.)

Sedentary Lifestyle Pedometers are great tools to measure your lifestyle. (Active or sedentary). Rule says: Less than 5000 steps a day is sedentary life.
