4. National Parks The Kuscenneti National Park in Turkey and the Okefenokee National Refuge in Georgia are the largest parks. The parks are restoring habitats and safety of wildlife. Turkey has 33 National Parks. Georgia has 9 Refuge Parks.

8.  The value of learning about bird watching is a common activity we both have in Georgia and Turkey.  You can learn about all of the different types of birds, and talk to other bird watchers about their experiences.  Ash-throated Flycatcher and Common Eider are birds in Georgia.  Wall creepers and kingfishers are birds in Turkey.  Both of our nations have migrating birds that travel to warmer climates. Bird watching Rome, Georgia and Istanbul, Turkey are the best places for the activity.

10. Animals  Even though different animals roam in Georgia and Turkey, we both recognize the importance and the value of animals in our nations. The common interest we have with Turkey is that we have some of the same animals, but they have different animals from us as well.

18. Endangered animals Saving endangered animals is important to Turkey as well in our own state because we want to help wildlife.

19. Red-cocked woodpecker The Red-cocked Woodpecker is an endangered animal in Georgia. It is being affected by habitat and loss.
