1.Provide significant sustainable value to our Federation Associations. Strategic Objectives 2.Establish and maintain effective on-going, regular communication vehicle(s) which keep individual IFFPS Members connected and informed. 3.Provide an appropriate benefits package for Global Speakers Network (GSN) Members. 4.Support communication related to the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. 5.Create sustainable events which advance the mission of IFFPS and support member association’s local initiatives.

GSS Looked at guide in agenda book (pg 11) Must be different than any others – includes meeting planners 2 days dedicated to local and international talent, last day to showcase tradeshow Financially – 5 different poss. Models –Bid process guidelines and could use whichever model. –Team made up of 1 st chair (Scott), Reg, pres, past pres and pres-elect to look at bids and then chose host association – no GSS if nothing comes forward – don’t want to force it on the Fed. –Changed the bid process (page 12) planning team – whomever the host association brought forward, including inter’l members. – host association must be comfortable with their team –Accepted the Summit guide as written with these 2 changes –SA has proposal ready to go, but need to modify based on these 2 changes – 30 days to decide on 2009 Summit ??
