I have my credit reference file but some of the information is wrong. What can I do? 1: Contact the credit reference agencies 2: Write to the lender 3: Give your full name and address and any proof why you think the information is wrong 4: If your query is about accuracy contact the relevant agency 5:Keep a copy of any letters you send Answer – All correct.

The credit reference agency has not replied to my letter within 28 days, or it has replied to my letter but taken no action – what can I do? 1: There is nothing I can do 2: Add a notice of correction 3: Complain to the Information Commissioner
