Free of food and drinks. Monday-Computer Lab Please help your child learn his/her Lunch Number. This number will be used to log in on the Computer and in the Lunchroom. Sign the Daily Behavior Chart Tuesday-PE Wear Tennis Shoes or sneakers. Sign and return Daily Folder. Sign the Daily Behavior Chart. Wednesday-Music. Sign the Daily Behavior Charts Thursday. CE –Curriculum enrichment Please review your child’s folder every evening. Review all papers sent home. Send back signed forms in your child’s Daily Folder. Friday-Art We don’t send Daily Folder home unless there is an Important Message Check the back of this newsletter for a list of parents that will join us for our Field Trip. Reading-Reading and learning about Groundhog Day. ABC Order using Groundhog Day Words Writing-Writers' Workshop routines; Bubble Maps; Double Bubble (Compare and Contrast) Math-Telling Time, Place Value, learning & reviewing Number Facts, and Shapes Social Studies- & Science Ground Hog Day,Weather & Groundhogs Homework- Please help, check, and have your child correct their homework. Please read, sign, and return your child’s Spelling homework sheet. Spelling- While helping your child study and learn new sounds, spelling words, and sentences, make sure your child is writing all letters correctly. All upper case letters should start a the top of the writing line, short letters start on the middle line, and all below the line letters start on the bottom line (g, p, j, & q). Remember your child should also learn and study all Review Words, Tricky Words, Tricky Words for Review and the sounds for the week. All of these items are locate on your child’s weekly spelling list. Your child really need all of your help and support with learning their spelling correctly (penmanship, sounds, & puncation marks). U19 Mr. E & Mr. E go Out Walking. Our Sounds for the weeK: ee, e, & e-e. Reminders Jan. 31 st Is our deadline for placing your per-order for the Harris Creek Yearbook. The price is $13.95. Please make check payable to Harris Creek Elementary School PTA. You care purchase the yearbook on line www.schoolannual.com Feb. 4 th We are going to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. The price will be $6.45. Remember you are not allow to join us if you have not registered to be a volunteer. So, if you have not registered, you need to do so NOW! If you come in this week or next week we will have your report back before on or before Jan. 31 st. Feb. 4 th Field Trip to NC Museum of Natural Sciences. Please allow your child to dress in layers and wear tennis shoes. Please do not send money because we will not visit the Gift Shop. If you will be joining us, younger children are not allowed on this trip. Friday, Feb. 14 th Geo Animal Project is Due On the back of this newsletter you will find a copy of the letter giving more information about this project. We will share our projects in the AM.
